Serves: 6

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 cup picante sauce, plus extra for topping
3/4 cup quick oats, uncooked
1 small onion, chopped
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
6 hamburger buns

Preheat grill or broiler. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except buns; mix together well. Shape into 6 large patties. Grill or broil to desired doneness. Serve on buns with additional picante sauce.
