Steak House Recipe

5 pounds dried black eyed peas
2 1/2 tablespoons seasoning salt
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon paprika
1/4 tablespoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/4 lb butter
1/2 onion, diced
1 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
3/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
pinch of cayenne pepper

Place peas and all ingredients in a pot and add water, making sure peas are covered. Cover and simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Remove from heat when done. Chill and serve.
