Logan's Roadhouse Copycat Recipe

8 ounces button mushrooms
1 cup plain flour
2 tablespoons chicken seasoning
1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
2 cups buttermilk
cooking oil, for frying

Preheat the oil to 375 degrees. Cut the mushrooms in half. Add the seasonings to the flour
in a Ziploc bag, mix until combined. Coat the mushrooms in buttermilk, then dredge in the seasoned flour. Deep fry until the mushrooms are golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. Drain them on a rack or paper towels

Dipping Sauce:
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons extra-hot horseradish (adjust to taste)
squeeze of lemon juice
sprinkle of  lemon pepper seasoning
sprinkle of onion powder
sprinkle of garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Combine all the ingredients for the sauce and serve.
